As a German non-profit organisation, atmosfair promotes CO2 offsetting projects worldwide. It focuses on individuals and businesses that want to offset their flights’ carbon footprints. atmosfair finances renewable energy projects to help mitigate CO2 emissions. We are glad to be one of the cooperating project partners.

Stove cooking set

In distributing our Save80 Cooking Stove Set we save a total of 25.000 tons of CO2 each year.  We are thankful that atmosfair supports the distribution and methodology compliance of the Save80 Stove Cooking Set. Together we focus on project development and strive towards decreasing CO2 emissions more and more.

Solar lights

Additionally, atmosfair just joined into a financial partnership with us, as they support us in distributing our solar lights.

The German Deutsche Post DHL Group and its GoGreen initiative are one of our financial partners. DHL finances the distribution and 50% subsidy of our Save80 Stove Cooking Set. Vice versa, in distributing our Save80 we create CO2 Reduction Certificates for DHL.

Greenlight Planet is a for-profit social business that designs, distributes, and finances solar home energy with an  under-served population in mind: the 1.3 billion global consumers for whom the old-fashioned electrical grid is unavailable or too expensive.

The goal of Village Water Filters is to produce a low cost water filter that will reduce pain, suffering and death caused by consuming unclean water. Some programs put in wells, some provide large scale water treatment and others use rain water harvesting. Anyone who receives a bucket filter will be able to filter water anywhere, anytime.

ASA-Program Engagement Global

For three years now, we have cooperated with the German ASA-Program offered by Engagement Global. The exchange program, the exchange program, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, gives dedicated people between the age of 21 and 30 the chance to work with a partner organisation of the Global South. This way, young people can gain knowledge about our One World, global structures and find solutions for today’s problems through personal, practical experience. We are more than happy to offer a platform for several interns to do exactly that: At Solar Lights, we offer a chance to work with locals and experience a change of perspective.
